Okay now....Me and my bf were havin a conversation awhile ago.,,,He said that he asked me out because one he was attracted to me and two because he loves my personality...But i simply think guys ask out a girl if she is "hot" then get to know her.....So my question is......What do guys like better personality or attractivness

well, im not a guy, but if you notice that they don't flirt with you at first, but gradually begin to hang out with you more, they like you for their personality. If they ask you right away, it's for your looks. Simple as that.

Your question is legitimate. If a guy has not had a chance to get to know the girl by some other means then there has to be a physical attraction at first because that is all there is. After that I think the the girls personality and the kind of person she is becomes more important.

I, personally, want a great personality and a great appearance. Most guys only date "hot" girls, and completely miss the other ones that would make a much better girl. Some guys are different, though. Some guys care about girls' feelings and well-being, and don't care as much about their appearance, whether it's sexy-hot or the ugliest thing on the planet.
I think you should ask him if he likes you for your personality, your personality and your appearance, or just your appearance.

Guys are driven by appearance not personality. Personality attraction usually doesn't happen for a guy until he is a mature man. Until then they act like boys. And part of being a boy is dating girls that they want to have sex with. They will even tell a girl they love her....hoping it makes her agreeable to having sex.
Remember, the guys worth having as a BF are the ones that will be there for you even when they know they aren't getting sex. All others will dump you!

I must admit, my quest is focused primarily on looks, then personality. It's shalow, but it's what I choose. To my dismay, some of the HOTT grrrs I've met have been dumb as a sac of buttholes, or mean as the devil. It's a pretty tough Q, sweets, hope your both and keep an open mind. Even if guys are doing what you suspect, rise above it and believe in the best, don't do it urself

This goes the exact same way for girls..
In the past I dated 2 VERY gorgeous guys, one was actually a model, and the other had a daddy who owned a mercedes/porsche/audi dealership, so on the outside they had everything going for them, but when I really got to know them, they were horrible.. They were like some bananas.. pretty on the outside, but had nasty rotten spots on the inside.. so yeah, we started getting to know eachother bc of physical attraction, but you can only deal with an asshole for so long...
Your beauty will get you in, but it won't keep you there.

Face it... guys are human and mostly just go for the looks... well, not all guys, but most. Common... a girl can be a total idiot and be hott as heck... just because she is hott the guy won't even care that she is an idiot. If guys just went for the whole personality thing we wouldn't have all these single baby mommas around... guys are all about image!

um... i'm not a guy but one of the popularest people in my school i a girl and she is actually not extremely pretty, but many guys have asked her out and she's really nice and funny. and there is my friend who is very pretty with blonde hair, blue eyes, big chest, and skinny with perfect skin (i envy it)! but not a whole lot of guys like her and she has only had a bf once which lasted for a week.

I think both goes together. I personally like intelligent women...with personality and attractiveness ...good attitude ...well not necessarily a beauty queen but someone who takes care of herself, looks sharp and nice.
