walking is the best form of exercise because its the easiest for people to stick with and you can do it anywhere! just make sure you keep a brisk, consistent pace, one where your arms are swinging and your going faster than a normal walk. cutting carbs is not a long term weight loss solution. instead you should be eating more fruits and veggies in place of rices, breads, pastas ect. when you do eat rice/bread/cereal/pasta - like carbs, make sure they are whole grain/high fiber and keep in mind that the correct portion size is of a single serving is about the size of your fist. your body won't allow you to cut out carbs completely for too long as it sees them as the most perfect and preferred source of energy. you also get many nutrients and fiber from carbs which you do not get from ANY protein or fat sources. carbs are good because they add bulk to the diet which means you'll feel fuller longer...they also help maintain proper cellular hydration which helps enables your metabolism to speed up (make sure you are drinking lots of water too!) lastly, make sure your total caloric intake per day does not exceed 1800 calories but does not dip below 1200 either. best wishes :)

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Losing weight is all about burning more calories than you consume. In order to lose one pound you have to lose 3,500 calories.

So walking for one hour will burn about 250 calories. When you finish your walk you can drink some water but don't eat any additional food. Every couple weeks you should lose one pound... Keep it up.. After a couple months you will look and feel better.

Any kind of exercise is better than none. Try to walk fast or add in lunges or skipping to change it up. I am not sure how healthy you are eating already but cutting out all carbs is not the best option. It is good to have carbs as long as they are multi functioning. Bread is good if it is whole wheat or multi-grain (whole grain). Make sure you are eating it in moderation. You might think of cutting out unhealthy fats instead. Some fats are good though like that of avocados, again moderation is key. There are lots of sources online for healthy eating and exercising that don't necessarily require you to sweat or starve. Check out sites like prevention.com or ediets.com or type in healthy lifestyle into a search engine and look around.

yes it will. when you want to lose weight you have to think of everything as calories in vs. calories out. brisk walking for an hour = 300 calories. if you consume the same amount of calories you did before you started walking then you will lose, because you are at -300 calories every day than usual

It will help. The best way to do this, though, is to walk briskly and not stop to window shop. You can always do that some other time.
