Shower in warm, not hot water and instead of soap, use a moisturizing body wash. Use the Gold Bond lotion right after you shower and towel dry. It will help retain the moisture in your skin.

Increase your vitamin intake to decrease dry skin. A multi-vitamin will do the job for you. I found a website which discusses this in further. I would give it a try and see how it works out!
