I've experienced seeing many white people fighting. I've witnessed some white guy fighting a black guy and the white guy straight got his *** knocked out by one-two punches. I've witnessed another white guy fighting a black guy (he might've been mexican, I couldn't tell) and one punch ... BOOM. he got knocked out. he couldn't counter any of that guy's moves. I've also experienced a white guy fighting some asian guy and the asian guy went Bruce Lee on his *** (like no joke) and he couldn't get up. Can white people fight?

A good fighter is a good fighter what ever race, nation, colour, or creed.
And a bad fighter is a bad fighter!

the reason whites lose a lot of street fights is because blacks and mexicans live in more violent communities, where some fight every day and most of them have blacks have been in at aleast a few fights in their life. Along with the influence of everyone trying to box all the time. After so many street fights and the boxing influence in the communite blacks have an advantage.

Whites on the other hand may or may not of been in a fight before. At my school there's a lot of white people and most of them have never been in a fight before.

Also many whites who street fight tend to wrestle, grab and throw a lot of wild hook shots, while blacks tend to wrestle less but throw fast straighter punchs. The black style tends to win.
Basically its about experience.

Finally none of this matters if they are both trained. If you have ever noticed this blacks always win theory only seems to apply to street fights. Win you give whites the same training and experience that always levels the battlefield, by the way I'm black.

What you are seeing is the fact a lot of US and other english speaking white countries these don't have to fight, and are too well fed and lazy in our suburbs to learn to defend ourselves properly.

You go to russia or any of eastern Europe and you will see plenty of 'white guys on the street who can fight' :)

Generally most races are similar physically but different mentally, mainly in the area of consistency.

When a black, hispanic or arab's blood is up or game is on, he is very difficult to stop, and the best in the world then.
However if he is under pressure, or broken mentally he is a lot less.

A white guy is less dangerous when his blood is up, but he can bounce back from defeat or pull off last minute victories more often even when he is almost finished.

You will see this in most sports, boxing, ballsports.

Its also why even when we were similarly armed in wars with other races, we usually won.

The asian is the only race in large scale combat that has the answer to whites, In that he may not recognize he has lost anyway.

Getting beaten and down trodden and brutalised is a big deal for us, but for peasants in asian countries that's just tuesday :)

Your kidding me, right?

First off. I'm not white (as you can tell by the name) so you won't be getting any bias answer here.

1. Skin color doesn't matter when it comes to fighting.

2. Look at the legendary fighters/martial artists of all time. You can see that there is no clear one dominant race at all. Royce Gracie is Brazilian, Ken Shamrock is white, Mirko Cro Cop is White, Kazushi Sakuraba is Asian, Rampage Jackson is Black, Chuck Norris is White, Bruce Lee was Asian as was Yip Man.

3. Street fights (usually) are a demonstration of a few morons going at it and almost never involves trained individuals. Haymakers, making little use of low kicks to close the distance, trying to throw headlocks with only a head and not an head and arm or throwing their hip into it for more leverage, and also not using their hip to guide power into strikes shows that they are going off animalistic rather then human mechanics.

-The consensus is that white people can fight. So can Asians, So can Blacks, So can Mexicans, So can Middle Easterns, So can South Americans, etc.

You're committing a major fallacy by using events that are related, but that aren't useful as a consensus on how well an entire group of people are. You saw a few events, and those few events are complex in themselves. Everyone is complex.

Can white people fight? Of course they can. Fighting ability is indiscriminate of race or ethnicity, and it dependent on ability and drive. Besides that, fights come down to mere tenths of seconds: Even the baddest fighter in town can be caught on a bad day. That's why we need to be prepared.

A few fights won't determine anything. A few million fights won't either.

Hey Brent... do you think your statement was edifying at all?

You are actually insulting your race.

The problem is, that even in Europe, there is not as much racism as there is in the US. Not even in Apartheid South Africa is there as much racism as there is here.

Your arrogance is disturbing. Your words make you seem like the leader of the pack.

Thanks.

Fook, I was told some time back that the Shamrocks were actually adopted. That they were Mexican or some other Latin American ethnicity. I don't know how true this is. Anybody chime in?

Also, Chuck Norris is Native American and White. I believe his Dad is Navajo.

Skin color doesn't have any bearing on fighting ability.

Only hard training, good instruction, and lots of sparring have a bearing on a fighters skills.

If you are still not convinced ask:

Chuck Norris
Bob Wall
Bill Wallace
Joe Louis
And a host of others that have made their mark.

psht of course they can it has nothing at all to do with color! it's all to do with technique, experience, speed, strength, stamina, and will! color doesn't matter at all! those were just isolated examples!
it may be a small, 90 lb white dude, or it may be a WWF white dude!

oh, to add to Jim's list, also ask Joe Lewis! no, not the boxer, the heavyweight karate champion twice given the title "best fighter in the history of karate!" he was FORCED to take a tenth degree black belt, he was that good! he sidekicked you and you just went flying off the ring!

Let's see... best fighter in the world is white (Fedor)

The last UFC heayweight champ was white (Coultre)

UFC Welterweight champ was/will be white (Serra/hughes/GSP)

But honestly fighting skills has nothing to do with race. It has to do with experience and dedication to their respective craft.
No one race has an advantage...
