That's where I got the stuff for my son's preschool class. I like the holiday rubber duckies best. There's also pencils, erasers, stickers, and tons more that are holiday themed.

For my preschool kids' classmates, I go to the dollar store and buy packs of cute shaped erasers, mini-playdough, straws, crayons, pencils, stickers, etc. and put them in goodie bags. Then you aren't worried about food allergies or giving them sugar, and they aren't terribly expensive. Our school is in a church, so we can give Christmas themed items and not offend anyone, but these items can easily be generic themes.

If this is for a gift exchange (as my children's classes have done), some ideas are: Crayons/Coloring Books/Other Art Items, an inflatable snow tube, books, inexpensive age appropriate puzzles, age appropriate card games (Go Fish, Crazy 8's, Old Maid...you get the idea). Hope this helps!!

I would not give out anything religious themed.
I'm not sure if I would give anything to the child's classmates, inless they were very close friends.
