I do. I dont lie about anything when it comes to my health.
There is confidentiality with your doctor and the only way to always get properly treated is to be honest.

You better tell him you smoke weed because that has many different negative affects on your body and he needs to know that. Besides, tests taken will show it anyway, so best to be honest so you get the right diagnosis.
BTW, are you fully aware of all the problems weed causes?

I called the doctor's office, and told them I got a positive. They scheduled me for an appointment when I would be 8 weeks pregnant (going by my last period). At the first appointment, they did a pap, they did a vaginal ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy, and then they took a complete medical history and a ton of blood for tests.

frankly, in order for your doctor to be able to be effective in treating you, he needs to know all. the information is private, it isn't like he can tell anyone, but he should know that you smoke weed on a regular basis.

Yes if he is evaluating you for a medical condition that could be related to smoking marijuana or planning to prescribe you medications that could be effected by the use of marijuana. Otherwise what you do in your private time is best kept private.

well, you just told everyone who has access to the internet and some knowledge about yahoo. why not tell him?
though by law, if you do tell him, he's not supposed to say anything.
and besides, first bit of blood work will show THC anyway.

It's your health and your body so if you feel like not telling the doctor it's your own risk....and I'm not trying to be a jerk =)

yes, they are asking about your health. And whatever you "smoke" it does effect your lungs and other organs.
