Im fourteen and live in spokane WA it is winter time and im thinking of going ice skating. is this a good idea? or should i go somewhere else?

Excellent idea if your date also likes ice skating or skiing or any ice-related activities.
Best to ask if they like ice skating. If they don't, just convince them it would be fun and make sure you make it fun for them.
If they don't know how to ice skate, just say you'll show them and they'll be in safe hands. Make sure you make it fun for them while teaching.

Ice skating is a FANTASTIC idea! It's somewhere where the parents dropping you off can feel safe leaving you, it's definitely got the potential for lots of conversation and maybe even hand holding :o) and it's so much fun! Good idea, young bear.

Look the date you are going on is for both of you.. not just you... So don't decide upon a place just because you like Ice skating. Get to know more and more about her likings and dislikings as far as going places is concerned and zero in a similar place and rest depends on you how you make it romantic.

Ask your date what she likes to do. Your only 14. Just talk to her about what you both would like to do. You know....casual. Ice Skating sounds good.

Go anyplace you feel comfortable and date safe. Whoever you take with you, will enjoy the date more if your at ease and they are able to spend time with you without being worried about the people around you or the situation.

sounds like fun. id wanna go! after you guys can go to starbucks or some place and get some hot chocolates or lattes and snuggle up on a bench and drink up. im 14 to and that sounds fun and a little romantic! hope you have a good time!

find out what your date likes. if she mentions she likes to ice skate then go ahead if she hints at a movie or a nice night out then go with that too

Well man, i would say go ahead. Just make sure you have fun but more importantly, make sure she has fun. Next time maybe try asking her where she wants to go. I hope both of you have a lot of fun on that date.
