Ulead videostudio 11. you can download a free 14 day unrestricted version from www.corel.co.uk. It will convert anything to anything you like & in my opinion is the best video editing progremme available anywhere. If you like it then the software is not too expensive & I swear by it.

Each camera has it's own way.
Usually, you have a USB cable and a software that comes with the video recorder , plug in the USB, run the application that you installed from the CD that came with the camera, instructions are usually easy to follow, you will have an option to download or import video from the camera.
If you do not have the software, consult JVC support and download centre to download what you need, the link is: http://uk.jvc-service.net/public/
Best of luck

If you give the model number we can look up the ports. Without that info, what you wrote so far indicates you have an analog video camcorder, no digital out, so you need a Video Digitizer such as Dazzle DVD Converter ($50 to $250 depending on quality of video input) Once you got it into the PC, you can then convert / resize into proper format for uploading.

It the same, the videos come off the camera just like the pictures do. Just upload the videos when you upload your next set of pictures. That how my camera worked, but I had a GE camera.

If your video camera is an analog camera, you will need an analog converter such as the dazzle, the converter will convert your analog camera to digital so your computer will read it. They cost about 70.00 but it comes with some good editing software. I also use the analog converter to download old VHS tapes.
If your video camera is digital, you will need a firewire card (ieee 1394) installed in your computer (easy to install) and a firewire cord (ieee 1394) to attach your camera to your computer. This may run you 50.00 to 100.00 dollars.

Yeah those leads you bang on about are rgb scart and audio leads.
You should be able to hook up via a suitable usb and drivers consult the manual of your camera and you should be there
