Have you ever told a "little white lie" that just totally blew up in your face?

sometimes those are the worst kinds of lies..... just cause we think it's a "little white" one, doesn't mean the person being told it would agree..... best to always be honest.

Little white lies are a necessary social convention. When you're introduced to somebody and he asks how you're doing most people say they're doing fine. This is not about deception, this is etiquette. Lies are not necessarily bad, sometimes they're a positive good. Not all knowledge is for public consumption. Every person, company and state has legitimate secrets and protecting them with appropriate lies is acceptable and sometimes necessary. If your wife asks if you've ever been unfaithful are you going to tell about that hooker in Nevada fifteen years ago? Telling her about that would be a sin.
