I actually called 2 different vets. They both said watch for lathargic, vomitting, stumbling, and out of the normal behavior. Problem is, I've only have the dog for a week, so i'm still not used to his "normal" behavior. Thanks to all that helped.

First off, why did the groomers do this without contacting you to find out if the dog has already received flea treatment? Plus, Spot On is absolute crap.
It may very well be a chemical overdose, and you should contact a local vet clinic to ask their opinion.

If you have already checked with your Vet, why are you posting this question?
The first application was washed off by the bath the groomer gave him. So what ever was on him was washed off. It is always a better to wait at least a week after a bath before applying any of that sort of flea or tick treatment. Right after a bath there is no oil on the skin & those treatments disperse using the natural oils of the skin. Make sense?

As people have said, you need to ask a vet. We can't possibly answer this question - which spot-on was it that was applied for instance?!
Most veterinary spot-ons are OK to use within a short space of time from each other, but I can't say the same for whatever the groomer might be using. Call a vet, and watch out for ANY symptoms from your dog i.e doing anything she doesn't normally do. And tell your groomer not to use their crud on your dog anymore.

As everyone said call your vet to be sure. You need to wash the dog right away as spot on is not waterproof and will wash off. It won't wash all of it off but some should but this is serious! I know of many dogs and cats that have died from topical flea/tick treatment poisonings. The damage to the liver alone is life threatening. Also call the groomers and talk to the owner/manager and tell them what happened so it doesn't happen again.

Call your vet and ask. This is something that could be answered over the phone (and thus shouldn't require a costly office visit, unless there is a problem).
Don't risk your dogs health on a chance that someone on yahoo answers might actually be knowledgable enough to know one way or the other.
Edit: What did your vet say? If your vet wasn't worried, then your dog should be fine. As a side note, a 9lb poodle would only be given a dose appropriate to its size, so that really doesn't matter much. Now if it was given even a single dose that was intended for a greyhound, that would probably be far worse.

Revolution is a good brand, I used it for my dog, but I would be worried about the double chemical from the crap the groomers put on.
Call the vet ASAP! It could be serious trouble!
And I would seriously report the groomer for doing something like that without asking you first!

He should be fine! Watch him for Lathargic behavior, vomiting, diarrhea, and if any seizures take him to vet!! But most of the topical flea meds have to be 10 times strength to become toxic!

First, tell your groomer not to do that - and tell them before you go they already have their flea treatment.
Call the Vet and ask what they think. Watch him carefully.
