HOME is a 3D virtual online community were you can meet and communicate with other people that own PS3's. HOME looks something like The Sims because you walk around in a 3D world and meet with other people, and do a whole lot of more stuff such as going to the arcade and playing games. More stuff is still being added to PS3 HOME.
You can create your own character, and the character customization are very detailed. In Playstation HOME you can meet new people that aren't even on your friends list because everyone in HOME will be PS3 users.
You even have your own apartment and you can invite your friends over to hang out and check out your apartment and sit and chat with each other. You can put your own pictures on the wall in your apartment, put furniture in the room, and you can even customize the wall backgrounds in your apartment.
HOME is going to be an awesome service for all PS3 users and it will be free.
