I just wanted to know. I am not saying I will chose one so I won't have to go to hell. I am very interested in knowing if there are religions out there that do not believe in hell.

Now, that is something I NEVER knew. Jews believe in reincarnation. Thanks for the answer.

Judaism. We don't have a concept of 'hell' in the way that Christianity does; there is no eternity spent in abject misery etc etc etc.

Judaism doesn't have the idea of people being damned to a place called "hell" for all eternity. This is Christian, probably taken from Zoroastrianism.

Judaism has reincarnation. always has. Most non-Jews don't know this because they never bother to look beyond what they've been spoon fed by Christianity their whole lives. And Christianity says that everything they have comes from Judaism, when in fact almost nothing they have comes from Judaism.

Wicca. No heaven, no hell, no devil, no sin. Certainly poor choices that can affect your karma in a very negative way and set you way back on your spiritual journey, but you're not going to end up eternally damned for doing bad things.

You may, however, get some really hard lessons in this life or the next that are trying to teach you why poor choices aren't the way to go.

There are doctrines of many religions that don't believe in Hell, but if you're looking into one of these religions so you don't have to worry about Hell; that doesn't make sense. If Hell does exist then wouldn't you want a religion that believes in it?

Judaism. There is no mention of any sort of afterlife in hell or heaven that I can find in their book.

The idea of torturing people slowly over millenia could only have been dreamed up by a christian.

Buddhism, as far as I know, has no underworld, eternal punishment, or any concept of sin. It focuses on bettering yourself as a person and striving to achieve enlightenment.
