or even asked a Latter-Day Saint questions about their faith?

I have met anti-Mormon people who have read the Book of Mormon, we can sit down and discuss it as adults(those are the ones I prefer).
But I have also met the anti-Mormons who claim to have read the BoM and have no clue as to wait they are saying, and start making stories and lies. And I really don't think many of them take the time to ask any questions, they are to busy trying to destroy the person and tell them that they are wrong and going to hell.

I have read the "Book of Mormon", "Pearl of Great Price" and the "Doctrine and Covenant". I have also spoke to many Mormons about their beliefs and practices. I have found them to be very guarded in discussing these things with outsiders but once I convinced them that I was not interested in converting to their faith they were more open with me.

My reason for the in depth study was because I was writing my masters thesis on the reasons for the growth of Mormonism. I found Mormons to be very warm, loving people within a very protected society from the outside world as far as being open with their beliefs.

um, i'm not anti-mormon; but i disagree heavily with the doctrines; and am of the knowlegde that Mormonism is a seperate religion than Christianity, due to the doctrinal differences.
Mormons are Mormons; Christians are Christians. there is a difference.

Oh, and i have both asked LDS on thier faith; (have had LDS in my home, several times to talk about their faith) as well as i have read the book of Mormon from cover to cover. (i own a copy of it). (i used to have Pearl of Great Price, but someone stole it!) But, as i said, i have read the book of mormon.

AND if you do not believe me.... let me quote:

"And now we only wait to hear the joyful news declared unto us by the mouth of angels, of his coming; for the time cometh, we know not how soon. Would it be to God that it might be in my day; but let it be sooner or later, in it i will rejoice" -Alma 13:25
And ALSO:
"Therefore they did abandon their design to obtain the remainder of their lands, for so numerous were the Laminites that it became impossible for the Nephites to obtain more power over them; therefore Moronihah did emply all his armies in maintaining those parts which he had taken." - Helaman 4:19
And also: the book of Mosiah is a rip-off of the book of Deuteronomy. (just as an FYI).

I am not anti-mormon; i am anti-false doctrine. i like mormons; i do not like the doctrines; then again, Mormonism is a seperate religion than Christianity, so, LDS are entitled to believe whatever they want; without reproach.

Was Galileo anti-catholic when he expressed his idea of the true nature of the solar system? Just because one expresses the truth about something doesn't mean they are anti-whatever. Sometime Mormons don't want to listen to the truth, especially when it happens to contradict what they have been taught in their churches. Yet, present LDS leaders contradict the earlier supposed "Prophets" all the time.

Alissa, it isn't any longer magic, even if it somewhat is a few thing that grow to be promised to you, and to all human beings, if we yet carry on with the leaders. i'm happy which you're taking part in a eye-catching existence. we've been promised that if we are able to do with the aid of fact the prophet asks, we are able to be blessed. it somewhat is extremely real. As a missionary, some years in the past, I stronger the habit of daily BOM analyzing, and it is been a soft weight-relief plan considering the fact that. i could no longer commence my day in any incorrect way. I've asked several questions. As to the Book of Mormon, I want to get a copy, but I can't find it in book stores, and I don't want to order it online and have someone show up to my house. I hate people showing up to my house, just bugs the crap out of me.

But then again, I'm not an "Anti-Mormon"...I'm just not a Mormon.

I'm not anti-Mormon, but I have read the Book of Mormon. I regret to say I couldn't understand it, and was even more confused after reading it.

Must someone read "The Onion" or "The National Enquirer" to know it's fake? Come on!

But seriously, the first sentence of the book tells you everything you need to know:

"This is another testimony of Jesus Christ..."

Another testimony? Come on!

The book of Revelation (Ch. 22) SPECIFICALLY tells you:

18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

So, you tell me which one you would choose given that warning?

I've made my choice: The Bible is sufficient. All the truth is inside of it. Jesus is the Word of God. He alone is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

How many artifacts/ruins have been found of the massive battles and cities portrayed in the Book Of Mormon? Why does DNA testing say that the American Indian is of Asian descent and not even remotely of Hebrew descent? Why did Joseph Smith say that an ancient Egyptian manuscript (written in Egyptian hieroglyphics) was the lost Book of Abraham when in fact it is a writing about the Egyptian god Osiris? Why did Smith and his 1st followers add to scripture when several times in the Bible it says not to add or subtract from scripture? I'll tell you why because Joseph LIED!!! He was a false prophet!!!

"History of the Church " ........Joseph Smith said ... "God made Aaron to be the mouth piece for the children of Israel, and He will make me be god to you in His stead, and the Elders to be mouth for me; and if you don't like it, you must lump it." (vol. 6, pp.319-320)

"If they want a beardless boy to whip all the world, I will get on the top of the mountain and crow like a rooster. I shall always beat them.... I have more to boast of than ever any man had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together since the days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. The followers of Jesus ran away from Him, but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet." (vol. 6, pp. 408-9)
... Also.. a Sister Mary Lightner claimed an "angel" of God came to Joseph Smith came to him with a drawn sword and demanded he commit polygamy. This..even though the ten commands from God to Moses say no adultery is allowed. So..one needs to wonder.. what kind of angel would demand that Joseph Smith break the ten commands of God?

Things that make ya go ....Hmmmm.

"Hsa 2:16 And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, [that] thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali. " There God says He is alone God, one. No more baali ..no more other gods.

Jesus is the Bridegroom. And there is only One God. Jesus said it. Mar 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments [is], Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

Mar 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment. ( KJv )
