I agree with the previous answers about the nuby from walmart. They are fantstic. My daughter never liked the spout ones with the little holes on the top, she opted for the straw ones though and she loves them since she was 6 months old! Now all she drinks out of are cups and cups with straws :o) Try it out!

Most sippy Cups that claim "spill proof", are far from it. I only know 1 or 2 brands that don't leak that bad, Playtex and Munchkin aren't that bad. I prefer the Playtex ones though, they spill a lot less. They all will dump out water if they are shook hard enough. MY daughter every now and then will still smack them against the table and make a nice puddle for me to clean up.

I have tried almost every different sippy cup out there to try to get my 2 year old son to drink (he thinks they are toys for his amusement). I thought the nuby ones were great (my 1 year old can use it - it is on a Tommee Tippee brand cup which he holds well) but my 2 year old has worked out that if you turn it upside down and push it water will come out, so not really leak proof then!
Out of the ones I have the only one that hasn't leaked is the Avent Magic Cup. It has a removable valve which you may have to take out to get your child used to the need to suck on it to get the water out, my older son had trouble with this one. The spout is soft but not able to be chewed off.
Good luck!

Playtex and gerber. My son actually bit throught the nuby one and it could have been a choking hazard if he would have tried to swollow it. We also have some avent ones but the tend to leak. The playtex insulator is the best because it can keep the drink cold for a lot longer makes it easier to take out and about. I agree you might have to just buy a few kinds and see what your child likes.

Playtex and Gerber. I don't like the Nuby ones. The silicone part is prone to slipping as you screw the cap on and falls out of alignment, therefore leaking. I have never had a Playtex or Gerber cup leak.

I have tried them all and the one that works the best and least expensive too is the nuby from walmart...it has a soft silliione spout and my 22 month old son loves it..the only problem i have is when he bites them and they tear from him bitting but they are so inexpensive, it's not a big deal to replace!!

walmart has these nuby ones.. they're great.. they even have ones with straws (that can't come out and are leak-proof). my daughter wouldn't use a regular sippy cup, so i got her one with a straw, and she loves it... maybe get one of each to try before you buy a bunch of one kind. best of luck!
