and dad took me to the doctors for something unrelated then blood tests came back and they said i had something in my system, pain pill and then my dad started accusing me of doing drugs then i told him my mom gave me a prescription pill to ease my pain the other day and he said youre mom is giving you drugs and flipped out. Whos in the wrong here, my dad or mom? and am i wrong to think my dad is a lunatic for saying i was doing drugs or being mad at my mom for giving me a pain pill?

Your mother should not have given you that pill. It is illegal for her to share her meds with you. Your father should have taken it up with your mother, not flipped out on you. AND I don't think you are wrong in either case. Dad became a lunatic and you trusted your mom and she gave you something illegal. Well, sort of illegal, but still. You sound like you have more sense than your parents.

You need to let your parents settle this between the two of them. They've known each other longer than you have, and I'm sure it'll be resolved soon. Maybe your mom should have told your dad since you had the doctor's appointment, maybe your dad should have talked to your mom before flipping out. Sounds to me like they both love you very much. In the future, don't take someone else's prescription drugs. It's just easier that way.

Your mom is not wrong for giving you the pain pill. Your dad accusing you of doing drugs is just like, why would a parent say that????!!!!

Your mother should have never given you medication that was prescibed for her.You dont say how old you are ,but still taking meds without getting checked out by doctor first is not a good idea. What may work for her may be very dangerious or even worse for you.I believe your dad has a reson to be mad,and yes he should be upset at her,but thats a situation that they need to work out between them.Their is far more safer pain meds that she could given you like tylenol and depending on your age they make this in a childrens formula.

Most pain pills come with a warning not to give it to other people. That said, if you were in pain its natural for your mom to want to help.
It sounds like your dad wants to put you between a rock and a hard place.
Is he trying to get custody and will he try to use this?
That could be the cause of his overdone anger, would he preferred that you remain in pain rather than take the pill?
If relations between them have been strained, this may just be another example of two divorced adults who can't let go of their anger and want to get the kids involved in situations that are bad for their mental health.
When your parents try to put you in the middle tell them outright you don't want to be there and to respect the love they have for you and to leave you out of their feuding.

This sounds like a confusing situation. From what you said I understood that it was like an aspirin or a pain killer, right?

It sounds like a simple misunderstanding on your dad's part; he probably thinks it was some mind-altering drug like ritalin or prozac. Those can be very harmful, so it would make sense for him to flip out about it.

Check with your mom and dad, see if you can get them to talk it over rationally.

Also, make up your own mind about pain-killers. If you don't want them (if you don't like the foggy, unalert feeling they give, for example) you don't have to take them. Mind altering psychiatric drugs are quite dangerous and are classified by the FDA in the same category as cocaine, heroine, opium, etc. So DON'T take those :)

Your dad just jumped to conclusions. Stay calm yourself; it will help to calm him down.
And make sure that your mom actually reads the side effects of any drug before she gives it to you (or to herself).

Mums like to help their children especially when they are in pain. Your dads over reacting to it all. Nah youre not wrong your dad needs to chill. How come he took you to the doctors? He mayve suspected you were using drugs and tricked you into doing a blood test.

Is the dog even vaccinated?? Please book in the vets. Starving the dog for a day cures diarrhea often plus always have plenty of fresh water available. Peoples re hydration powders from the chemist add extra salt and sugars that the dog has lost due to diarrhea. Do not let her give the dog these pills. The dog will need worming soon as well. Is she ill or listless? rest her and keep her warm
