Nothing happens. The nose gets wet. and their eyes get full of water..........which can be bothersome.

Dogs can snort in water just like humans can and it's not comfortable. When I give my dog a bath I use a wash cloth for her face and around her ears. I'll massage a small amount of soap with the cloth around her face being carful to avoid the nose and eyes, and then a rinsed wet wash cloth to rinse. It does take longer than if I just sprayed their face, but ears, eyes, and noses are sensitive and I don't want to make her anymore uncomfortable than she already is, because she HATES baths and water.

What would happen if she jumped into a swimming pool? She would be wet from the tip of her tail to the tip of her nose. Water will not hurt her eyes or nose. Now, the shampoo may burn her eyes so use a baby shampoo that is tearless then you will nothing to worry about except her ears. Don't let a bunch of water get into her ears. May cause ear infection.

When bathing place your hand on top of their heads with finger down to close off water to the ears and your hand will block water to the face. Some water on face is OK. because the faces need to be washed. Water in the eyes, no problem water on the nose no problem. Don't drown him. He'll shake off the rest.

Water in the ears,not good.

well you shouldn't put her head under water or just use a cloth around her head area and when you use the cloth make sure there is not a lot of water in it
