Your boyfriend has a pilonidal cyst. They can sometimes appear out of no where but most come after an injury to the tail bone. They can become very painful and inflamed. They are treated by lancing and/or surgically removed.

You pierced your cheek, if I do so believe, haha. I can't really tell if what you have in it is a curved barbell, but it kindof looks like an earring. If it's an earring, go buy yourself a surgical steel lip ring. Earrings are usually not the right type of metal, which can irritate your piercing even more. It looks like it's irritated. If it's infected, DON'T TAKE IT OUT. If you take it out, the infection will get closed up into your lip and make it worse. Clean the piercing with sea salt solution twice a day. Use the warmest water you can stand, about 8 ounces, with 1/8 tsp of non-iodized sea salt. Put it on there for atleast 10 minutes. If you have some around, you can buy some h2ocean which is about the same thing. Don't use alcohol on it as it will dry the piercing out and kill the good bacteria that helps it heal. When you pierce your lip, it will swell to some degree. Don't play with your piercing too much either.

It could be a hemorrhoid. These are pretty common and can occur if he strains too much while having a bowel movement. They are often very painful. If this is what it is then he needs to begin increasing his fiber intake (add 1 tsp. of Fibersure to juice once a day) and take papaya enzyme pills which helps with digestion. Also, keep the area clean- have him sit down in a warm bath for 20 minutes.
There is also a certain type of cyst that can appear on a tailbone- he needs to see a doctor so he can be diagnosed and treated.

location is everything. Rhoids don't show up there. As long as we have no injury to go along with it, I'd suspect an ingrown hair or sebaceous cyst. Bathe frequently in hot water. if it gets any worse see a doc, you may need an antibiotic. Otherwise, it will resolve itself fairly soon as long as you keep the area clean.
One other thing, stop kicking his butt!

Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. How to get rid of hemorrhoids https://tr.im/l83GG
Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.

Agree with the possible a pilonidal cyst. Go to Dr. These can get quite infected, quite deep and can get to be quite a problem. Nothing to mess with. Please have him get it checked it out.

how big is it? It could be acne or a cyst..if it's red and looks inflamed it could be an abscess that may need to be drained by a professional.

It could be a boil. That needs to be cut out. My suggestion is to go to the ER.
