I believe God to be a just and merciful parent-like figure. Not domineering or some judge waiting for you to slip up so He can chuck you into hell, but rather someone who loves you but is able to see you for who you are. You don't get away with everything, like with your parents, and I think God can get pissed of at you sometimes, but on the whole, I think he is an intelligent, kind, and understanding being who treats everyone equally and loves them all unconditionally. I don't think that, contrary to the beliefs of many a televangelist, that God would ever hate one of his creations-although I certainly think there have been a few people who might have succeeded in that(Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Lenin, ect.).

A concept through which folks can have answers to those questions remaining unanswered by science. The best example of such a question is: Why are we here...or Why am I here...What's the purpose of humanity, etc? These are rhetorical questions for which there is no right answer and no wrong answer...Ergo folks turn to the concept for an answer...God made us so we have a purpose to believe in God...self fulfilling mumbo jumbo like that. PEACE!

As a Canadian, probably Wayne Gretzky, although Lemieux was a God in his own way......so Lemieux can be Jesus.....glad I resolved this personal issue
