The machinery of a cell are called protein molecules. The simplest cell in existence has 239 protein molecules. Protein molecules are made up of several thousand atoms, and has anywhere from 124 to 2000 amino acids, the average being 445. In order for these to work they have to be put together just right. Amino acids need to be arranged in exactly the right order if the cell is going to work.

DNA in the instructions for the cell. The protein molecules and amino acids cannot communicate with the DNA without the RNA. An average DNA will contain four billion bits of information.

If you number 10 pennies 1 through 10 and put them in your pocket the odds are 10:1. The odds that you will pull 1 and 2 out in order are 100:1. For the first three to come out in order, 1000:1. The odds that they will all come out in the right order are 10,000,000,000:1. Now we have a simple cell with 239 protein molecules containing 124 amino acids. The odds for that coming out right are 10 to the 137915th power to one, and that is with human assistance. What are the odds that it happened by itself?

I am surely not a science major, but I do know about God. I had a thing I would always do when I taught kids at school. CHRISTIAN OF COURSE> When you take a bunch of leggos and I mean the kid that end up making like a robot man... put them all in there all mixed up and dump them out, do any of the parts go together, ? NO let alone line up in perfect places just the right way. Just our brain alone is very intricate, and no computer can copy it. Look at our vascular system, all of it. This is design , no accident.
Also, if I found a car and brought it to you and said, HEY LOOK I FOUND THIS IN THE YARD AND ITS FOR YOU
YOu woudl ask where did it come from?
And imagine how nuts you would think I was, when I said, it just feel from the sky in a huge explosion. Gimme a break.
Are we really smarter than a fifth grader?? HELLO.
THey would know it has been deisgned and created with much intelligence and hard work etc. But they would surely take the car, and laugh at me all the way to the bank. hahaha
Fact is that is what happens to those that believe that there is no God that intelligently designed everything. He created everything, but much man has turned into awful.
You will believe such things as this and yet laugh at us again for our stupidity. I cal noone stupid , But God calls only a person that wont believe and follow Him, a FOOL.
I dont need sciende to prove anything to me. There is so much proove, but I live in blind faith and I am not ashamed of the gospel JEsus Christ.
They say we cant prove this, well they cant prove their beliefs either, only theory, and fact is if they would only believe and pray and study Gods word, they would see there is all kinds of proof.
Watch someone live after prayer, that no doc thought was possible, and then say there is no God.
Big bang cant heal or save, only Jesus can.

Yep God says we come from dirt, His dirt, and its all good.
I count it all as joy. I dont need to get it to know it is so.
Nor do I have to prove it to anyone else. I know what I know and its all good and I pray it for everyone.

That's sad. They are proving to you their beliefs have moral limits because they aren't very nice. Thereby reinforcing that what is outside their beliefs may have more value. In Judaism, belief is given a lot less importance. So, if you act within the actions, you can have doubts & explore all sorts of philosophical ideas & probably read about them as written by prior Rabbis who also explored them. Also, in the last few centuries with the advent of Reform Judaism, there is more room to continue the religion even if you're ideas conflict with the full traditional ones. I wish you well at dealing with these family members. They aren't acting out of true spirituality no matter what they believe, but rather out of human frality. A religion that is strong doesn't need to supress those that don't agree with it. Judaism winds up on the receiving end of that same problem you're describing, on global not individual level, so I have a small taste of what you're experiencing. Stick with your own truths. ------- Tehilla - your guilt comment struck realization for me. Jewish guilt is pervasive, but at totaly different character -- you could even say, it's largely "love" based at it's essense? You're right, that's the flip side & that's missing in most Jewish guilt - shaming. It's also always about actions (toward others), not about core self.

Modern proteins are more complex than the ones that formed 600 million years ago. Simple molecules of self-sustaining ammino acids are perfectly possible, especially in the conditions of Earth back then (actually, it was inevitable that those organic compounds would form).

Sorry, but I've read through that website before. Try reading some real science articles.

Nice try here. You are on the right track, but I doubt that any of the so called mega brains of this forum will truly understand the complexity of what you are trying to convey. They will claim that waaaaaaay back when things were much simpler, and because of all the evolutionary processes that have occurred things are just more complex. Well we know that they need to go back and relearn their chemistry which brings me to that exact point. There is (are) chemical reactions that occur naturally which will put many components together, or at least that's what they'll claim, but in fact these are preprogrammed code and chemical reactions built into the whole life building process. Which I have to repeat. These are built in preprogrammed chemical reactions. Yes, they are supposed to occur. It was designed that way. If all the opposing crowd would look at genetic coding they'd see the program for what it really is. One very amazing Engineering feat that took a mind far greater than ours to put together. All we can do is learn from it (creation). Anyone claiming to think this just happened is just a poser.

And yet amino acids and proteins form naturally from chemical reactions. Why is that? Oh yes, because of the inherent bonding properties of elements, atoms do not combine or react in random ways.

Oh and molecular geneticists know that phenotypic RNA preceded DNA.

one must be careful that the underlying assumptions of one's probabilities approach reality, otherwise all you have is garbage in, garbage out.

Millions upon millions to one, but it happened and has happened on countless Worlds, we just haven't found them yet, as we don't have the means!!

Actually, the odds for life happening 'by chance' are much better than it happening by a fictitious man-made deity!!!

Are you going to say that God is behind everything that happens in this and other universes? Must be one heck of a busy God...
The answer would be - all this happens anyway... all by itself.. because it is happening all throughout the universe...
