and considering that there is just as much factual proof to support radical Islam as there is to support radical environmentalism, and then considering both have the same agenda, the destruction of America, its freedoms, and its people’s way of life, then why do we tolerate the environmentalist pushing their religion into our schools, upon our children

there are certain thing in our nation that it is ok, to be a hypocrite in. As in, it will soon be illegal to preach from the bible, but you can have witchcraft in schools. It is ok to kill you children but when a parent wants to peseve the life of thier child thats not ok.

Go figure.

I think that is good to point out the differences of the worlds religions to students in a class room.Doing this helps us understand why people of different beliefs behave the way they do. However I don't believe that in a public school system any one religion or belief should be taught or labled as right or wrong. Environmentalism should be explained the same way.Presenting all sides to the students with out putting one's personal stamp of approval or disapproval on these ideas helps our children to make educated decisions and to come to their own conclusions instead of blindly following the "trend of the moment" or making decisions based soley on emotions. Our public schools need to educated not indoctrinate.

Well religion is a choice, and there are so many different ones.Islam is not a radical religion, the meaning of radical Islam is those who wish to use this religions name to control and terrorize the world,as Islam is a religion that is one of the biggest practiced religion in the world what a great way to try to scar the world into believing that these terrorize have a large army.Environmentalism is a fact of what is happening to our world, and kids should be taught to protect or world before we destroy it for their children's children.religion will always be around, even Islam. But will our beautiful world be,if we dont try to save it

I don't know any environmentalists that have murdered anyone. To compare them with the likes of Al-Queda is pretty low!

besides, I think most people who care about the environment want to make America a better place by freeing us from being enslaved to foreign oil and cleaning our skies and water. We don't have to give up our quality of life in order to do that.

Well if its public schools it's against the law to press religious beliefs on minors, you can sue an adult for it. Unless you have the parents permission. It should be that way. I would sue anyone trying to teach my child something that I don't believe in, when my child is an adult he or she can decide on their own.

UNFORTUNATELY FOR YOU

Science is a subject and it is one of the least controversial.

SCIENCE IS NOT ABOUT SPEAKING BS LIKE YOU DO... IT IS ABOUT HARD FACTS, EXPERIENCES WHICH CAN BE REPRODUCED, EXPLAINED, QUANTIFICATION AND CALCULATIONS... too bad for you.

Your political bias has nothing to do in schools.

High schoolers should get a mandatory philosophy class to learn to think for themselves and deepend their analysis.

There is no hidden agenda.

The quest for knowledge for the sake of knowledge is a noble one.

Just because you label something a religion does not mean that it magically becomes a religion.

You might want to consider this alternative viewpoint about science, from a man whose faith is very strong.
