Alma 37:33-37
Preach unto them repentance, and faith on the Lord Jesus Christ; and to be meek and lowly in heart; teach them to withstand every temptation of the devil, with their faith on the Lord Jesus Christ.
Teach them to never be weary of good works, but to be meek and lowly in heart; for such shall find rest to their souls.
O, remember, my son, and learn wisdom in they youth; yea, learn in thy youth to keep the commandments of God.
Yea, and cry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all thy doings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all they thoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever.
Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good;

Hey where is the rest of 37? j/k. It is simple advice for us to live by and helps me realize I do not have to complicate the process as much as I do. Thanks.

Great verses. I think they're pretty straight forward. Repent, have faith in Jesus Christ, be meek, withstand temptation, do good things, keep the commandments, and pray to God.

Thanks.

Very similar to Ecclesiastes but not quite as poetic. Cookie it's the B of M. Not the bible I'm sure if it was meant to be child not son it would have been.

Sorry, it just never worked for me. I never found any happiness in the mormon church. I never found any happiness in wicca or atheism for that matter either.

Oh, I love those verses. You can substitute "child" for "son" and have it apply to either gender.
