I apologize if this advice hurts, but the best way to deal with constipation is prevention. Constipation is a symptom of illness.
Eat natural foods in proper proportion and you will rarely be ill. Stay away from processed foods. None of us eats a perfect diet, but with practice and patience, you will find that alimentary problems become fewer and less severe.
Juice before soda.
Fresh meats/plants before processed meats/plants.
Rarely eat anything that comes in a box or can.
Avoid burgers, fries, and medicine.

A natural fast way is to eat fruit. Eat greens. and drink plenty of water. Get some apples, oranges or bananas, eat about two of them at one sitting, then after that drink a whole glass of water. Then 4 hours later eat some more fruit. Good luck.

Take a liquid saline laxative. It comes in a bottle and you drink the whole thing. It pulls water and liquids into your intestines and helps stimulate the system. And it works faster than other kinds of laxatives which can take between 12 and 72 hrs. Drink tons of water.
