yea believe it or not, I just found my state tax return for georgia, I knew I had it packed away somewhere as it got lost in some papers at some point, of course it is now void because it is way over the 180 days mark after issued, what can I do about getting this renewed, any info, phone #'s or wesite links are greatly appreciated, also do I need to get this done before the end of the year?!?!?!?!

Virtually no bank honors stale-dated checks anymore. Deposit the thing via the ATM and see if it sticks. Worst case scenario, the bank will return the check to you and you'll need to get a replacement from the state.

contact the dept of revenue in Georgia and explain it - probably all you'll have to do it return the voided check and ask for a replacement
