I f your gums bleed, it doesn't mean you are brushing too hard. You may have gingivitis or something else that causes the bleeding. You should press your finger to your closed lips. when you can feel the contours of your eye teeth beneath your lips, this is how much pressure you should apply to brushing. It's not much pressure needed, you should brush a couple of teeth at a time, for 10 seconds, then move to the next three and repeat. Then brush the backside of the teeth the same. Also, don't forget to brush your tongue. This is the major cause of bad breathe, bacteria on your tongue. I personally don't floss much, but if you do, good for you. your gums shoulded bleed. my dentist told me its not how hard you brush but for how long. actually he showed me how much pressure to use and its was brealy any. next time u go to the dentist ask him to just brush our teeth real quick to show u how much pressure to use. also you should only use a soft brush.
