Yes, I am. Where are they going to stop? How many languages are there in the world? I know where I live Korean and Japanese is spoken heavily...why don't we give THEM that convenience? Disgusting if you ask me, that we do it at ALL!

US's language is ENGLISH. The Constitution, Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence were all written in English, as well as ALL our laws!

Yes. America is a multilingual country, for sure, but English is the de facto official language because our constitution and all subsequent laws are written in English. However, if you REALLY want to be non-discriminatory, we'd need about "Push 3 for Farsi, Push 4 for Russian, Push 5 for Thai, Push 6 for Urdu..." and so on for about 150 or so others. It's discriminatory to accomodate Spanish only.

Seriously!!!

I would much rather it be somebody that I recognize telling me to "Press 1 (or sometimes 2) for English".

Yes; if people don't want to learn English, they should leave. (Native Americans excepted.)
In Germany there are no "Press 1 (or sometimes 2) for English".
Nor in France, the Philippines, Japan, Korea, or any of the other countries I have been in.

You learn the language of the country or find an interpreter.

i'm tired of anonymous voices talking about how tired they are of having to press a button. i'm sure you're going to say you're not racist, but the only way that pressing a button for english could possibly upset you is if you don't like people who speak spanish...
