Not sure if I'm being lazy or if the drug is addling my brain. Have you had a lot of trouble focusing when on this pain killer? Thanks.

hydrocodone is a narcotic, your lack of focus and mood swings are typical side effects of any narcotic. Suggest that you should not be working or driving while taking such a heavy duty drug.

You should only be taking the hydrocodone if you are in SEVERE pain. It is a very addictive narcotic and one of its side effects is DROWSINESS! You should never drive or operate heavy machinery while taking this medication. Try some Tylenol or Motrin to relieve whatever pain you're having. Good Luck!

Hey! We are in the same boat. :) I'm sitting here trying to study for finals but keep getting distracted and ending up here on YA. I noticed everyone has said "you shouldn't be taking that" but I'm sure you are taking it for a reason! Duh!
For me, I'd rather be a little addled than feel the pain of my broken bone. Good luck!

Hydrocodone is a narcotic you should not be working on it and driving while taking it is in fact illegal according to my doctor. I was not allowed to return to work until my pain from surgery subsided enough for me to switch to a less sever pain med.

It's a heavy narcotic. Don't get addicted to this. It does bad things to your organs.
