Christians is a broad spectrum of people. They as a whole do not agree on the same things. Therefore, the people you have listed will appeal to some.

The problem they face is the same thing the Romney used in his speech. The idea that the christian faith as a whole must band together against secularism. When politicians use their faith in the public arena for anything other then a fight against secular believes, they insult the rest of the Christians and sin against their own faith.

they must be. How "actual" can a individual's religious faith be if he exploits it on the marketing campaign stump? yet countless "Christians" think of it is surely a wink and a nod to their pastimes. They purchase the bill of products they're being offered. And it is too undesirable, with the aid of fact those politicians DO have an schedule, and it has no longer something to do with Jesus!

Religion is always a tool in politics. If and when an atheist becomes president, then religion has finally lost it's ground in politics. Till then, religion will always be part of the politicians' agenda :)

It should anger them.

Imagine voting for a party that never fulfils it promises.

Sometimes I think religious people have more faith that the republican party is actually going to do what it says, than they do in God.

In reality Republicans and Democrats are exactly the same party, touting differing beliefs, but providing the same results.

Well that goes with everything everywhere people will use The Lord sometimes as in ever;ything else, no we should not get angry, but Pray, and do right, they'll eventually either slip up, telling on themselves, or follow our examples and learn to do right.

Perhaps it is the stupidity of the people - they are so gullible, if a politican says he is religious, the people vote for him regardless of other issues because the people do not know the issues, - then that same politican can do whatever he wants, however he wants!

They only vote for those who are Christians and you see how that has turned out.

It bothers me for people to use God for political gain. I also hate to see the pre-born used for political advantage. Haven't they been through enough?

However, I try not to judge...................I think you can tell when you are being manipulated.

Yes - it's called taking the lord's name in vain (contrary to the popular belief that it means saying "goddamnit").

I hope they reconcile with God before it's too late, but I'm trying to be less of a hypocrite, so no, it doesn't anger me.
