Someone told me once what I can type in to the "Run" under the Start Menu that allows me to check or uncheck ANY programs that I want or dont want to run during windows start-up.

I believe it was something like "ms.startup.exe" or something but that isnt it.

An alternative to the builtin startup program viewer, msconfig, is microsoft's 'autoruns'.

It is a much more usable interface.

Autoruns has more information than msconfig but it does not show 'services'. To see these, you can type:

services.msc in the "Start > Run" to bring up the services panel.
