I just downloaded a Windows Internet Explorer update. Now, sometimes when I click buttons on the screen (example, the preview button on answers) it goes to onestepsearch.net. And, it will also close my browser window sometimes when I click back, or any other button on websites. What's wrong and how can I fix it? It's really pissing me off!!

Sounds like you got more than you wanted (i.e., a hijacker), try Yahoo Anti-Spy.

Re-install Internet Explorer. You can do this just by downloading the same version online (depending on if you have 5, 6, or 7). Sounds like spyware so if you uninstall they should go away.

Sounds like spyware to me. Download any of the following anti-spyware programs (Ad-Aware, Spybot Search & Destroy, Windows Defender) to remove it.

Ad-Aware: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad_aware_free.php

Spybot: http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html

Windows Defender: http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
