Britain certainly will be over crowded in the very near future if we continue to allow people from all over the world to settle here, we are an island with limited space which is also slowly being eroded by the sea, we also have finite resources which are being used at a rapid rate.

If we continue as we are I feel there will be civil disobedience as people are crowded closer and closer together, if our politicians cannot see that we require border controls all around our coast line as well as on all ports and air ports the situation can only get worse.

Instead of using our armed forces in wars which are not of our concern the British Army could be more usefully deployed protection our homeland security.

immigrants entering, circa 750k per annum. Britons emigrating abroad, 585k per annum, births and death figures unstudied. The changing face of the very fabric of society is a global phenomena affecting many contries as wars and poverty create migrating populations seeking economic salvation usually found in Europe or The west.

Allen A and David b above.
No the problem is that the scummy unemployable underclass (a lot of them are white by the way) are breeding like rabbits from the age of 14, they are supported by the state all of their lives, and their unemployable offspring will do the same.
Immigrants tend to want to work - they are paying taxes - what's the problem? They also tend to engender a work ethic into their children.

the towns and cities are pretty full already

if millions more people choose to live here much more infrastructure needs to be put in place

of course this isn't going to happen soon, so perhaps there should be limits on how many people can enter the country as residents

I assure you that the department that done that goes on worse case always. They for example predicted it would be 80million in the year 2000 back in the seventies. they were off then and no one bothers to find that out do they when they are trying to write a good headline that is journalists for you they are useless really are else the editors want a headline to scare people and it works every time.

If things carry on the way they are - yes. And it will have NOTHING to do with immigration! 25 years ago two or three generations were happy to live under the same roof. Now, as people get richer, everyone wants their own space. The government must act by building more houses, and more high-rise flats.

England is the 4th most densely populated country in the world. We need to restrict immigration and encourage emigration - nothing to do with race.

Undoubtedly, we are already over populated by around fifteen million and in the coming years we will not have the resources to sustain this small island

Get real, the population may rise a few million but with all that unbuilt land in scotland what's the problem? Or just put all th enewcomers on the flood plainsof the rivers.. and voila... biblical.
Once the UK economy cools thanks to N Rock, the credit crunch and over taxation, no one will want to come anymore and you can have it all to yourselves....

LoL from Europe (I mean the real Europe)
