My parents, who have left Mormonism, say this never happened to them. However, many people say it has happened to them. So, here is my take on the situation- for what it's worth: There are good Mormons and there are bad Mormons, just as there are good Baptists and bad Baptists. A few bad Mormons may have taken advantage of their authority and used their positions to abuse others, knowing they promised to keep "what happens in the temple stays in the temple". Not every Mormon temple worker did it- but a few may have.
There have been allegations of abuse founded and unfounded against members of every religion.

Here is an answer from an ex-mormon on another site:
It is sort of true. I'm an exmormon. When you go to the temple they give you a thing like a sheet with a hole for your head that is open at the sides. Part of the ritual involves going into an enclosed space where a temple worker wets their finger in a faucet and then touches each of your body parts while reciting a blessing for that part and yes, one of those parts is your "loins" that you might be fruitful and overpopulate the earth. I hear they changed this part of the ritual a few years ago. I guess exmormons got the word out and they were worried that the weirdness of it might scare of potential new members

No no no!!!!! That has NEVER been a part of any of the temple ordinances. You are annointed in the washing an annointing but they do NOT touch you anywhere inappropriate. I've been going to the temple for a long time.
The question is, are you going to believe what you think you heard, or in Lucids case, what you read from an anti, or are you going to believe what those of us who actually go to the temple are telling you?

While you may have grown up Mormon, that does not mean that you are not amazingly misinformed.
This simply is so far from being true that is goes past being humorous to the pitifully sad.
This does not, nor has it ever, happened.

yeah! Where do you guys come up with this stuff?
I've gone to the temple 5 times and we just do stuff like seal families together or baptisms to the dead and stuff! And the baptism stuff isn't all dark or mysterious. It's almost like a regular baptism, but the tub's bigger and prettier. And the sealing isn't dark or mysterious at all.

Most of them dont even know they used to do that in temple marriages. Why do you think no one exept Mormons are allowed to view the weddings in the temples?

I have been through the Mormon temple many, many times. This simply does not occur, nor has it ever occurred. Please stop spreading lies about Mormonism. Lying is something Satan does, not something we as Christian should do.
