In the world I live in (which is mostly christian) when a guy tells a girl that he is more traditional it usually means that he is more about paying for a girls dinner and opening the door for her if they are dating. It can also mean that he likes to be the main monetary provider while the wife is the main caretaker of the house and children if they are married (not necessarily meaning that she doesn't work...just depends).

that means hes old fashion. He'll insist on paying when you go on dates, he wont rush into sex, he'll open doors for you. He'll probably be the guy girls think of as a "sweetheart." although it seems like these guys usually end up being better friend material than boyfriend material.
