They either have some kind of mental problem or just won't respond to anything you send them. I can deal with a lot when it comes to someone's personality. I'm really laid back and will let most things slide. I believe no one is perfect. I'm not looking for some girl with a supermodel body and IQ of 160+. It seems like there are 40 guys to everyone girl so why try? I thought looking for a girl in real life was bad. Online is even worst. Sites like eHarmony want a outrageous fee for you to join. When you do fill out their questionnaire it never finds any matches for you. I live in a small town and finding a girl where there is nothing but corrupt churches and no clubs is hard. The ads on TV make it sound like you are guaranteed to find a date. Am I the only person that is run into this problem?

No, you're not. I'm sure people have good experiences, but at the same time, a lot of them are married people or total creeps. I'd say your experience is definitely the norm.

Dating for men is a soul crushing, harrowing, negatively charged experience for EXACTLY that reason -- you're throwing out the "ugly" ones. Imagine if YOU were treated like a throw away piece of garbage -- you ARE saying that to millions of men who read your post on Yahoo -- if you were judged solely and entirely alone by your picture up front without so much as you even being able to utter a single sentence in response to someone you might be interested in and have a great background, then you'd understand... Women don't experience it like men do. Women don't go for months without dates. They don't go a whole year without getting laid. They have the pick of the litter and everyone is writing them. Men hardly get emails at all, so for them almost all of them get desperate and lonely FAR more than you will ever know or understand. Nearly all women have ZERO ideas about how bad it is for men trying to date online...spend a few seconds in a man's shoes by putting up a male profile and attempting to contact any of a thousand women in your local area on a dating site once in a while and open your heart and eyes to what it's like to try to talk to a woman, most of whom are extreme feminists and are more interested in their dogs, children and pets than they are in actually dating a human being of the opposite sex. Try to look beyond pictures -- REAL hearts are deeper than pictures will ever be...maybe you'll find someone worthwhile you had no idea was actually the perfect find... If everyone dates like you -- rejecting men simply because they're in your perfectionist eyes -- "ugly" then our society is doomed and doesn't have long to live...

Sorry but I do not agree with even the title "Online Dating". People are merely chatting it up online and quiet often either lying or being lied too. There are many users, losers and liars that fabricate who they are and what they look like. I did meet my wife through one of these services, Findsomeone.com, that was a free site about 5 years ago, But prior to speaking with her had also chatted with many other females who appeared to have agenda's for meeting people and mostly it was for some form of financial help of to get into your wallet. If you do attempt to meet females this way then please be careful with the amount of personal information you share. And also be careful with believing what you are being told. If and when you do chat with a female that you'd be interested in meeting then you can call it dating. There are so many people that actually feel like these strangers they are chatting with are either their friends or that they have fallen in love with someone they haven't even met yet makes me wonder where the hell society is heading. Best of luck and be careful is all I can suggest.
