Just a thought but what did they do with the teddy bear named Muhammad? Did they destroy it? Put it some place where it will be treated reverently? Rename it? Just kind of curious what happened to the bear.

lavender - no I would not name my dog Jesus. However if a child said this is my teddy bear Jesus I would find it sweet and I imagine so would Jesus.

As I understand it, when the kids took the bear home they never called it by it's name. It wasn't until the book came out (a class book, not a published book) was it revealed that the name of the bear was Muhammad. So perhaps it was just put in a closet somewhere and will eventually be brought back out and renamed something considered more appropriate. Good question though. I don't have an actual answer.
