it 's called the Commonwealth these days - and there's those who believe that it's how the British Royal family control the UN. Prince Charles is obsessed with his earth worshiping religion and uses the CW to promote it in the UN.

yes and no. it is an independant nation now but it is part of the commonwealth of nations and the head of that is the queen. the queen has a personal rep in canada know as the governor general. for more info
