i'll lay off the christians for a while. when was the last time someone was imprisoned for naming a teddy bear darwin? what is wrong with people? i'm referring to this whole debacle over some teacher in sudan naming a teddy bear muhammad. i have to say though, as much as i hate extremism like this, it does help shed light on the dangers of religion when taken too seriously. can i get some muslim opinions on this issue. what's your take on it? i mean if it was just some whacko overthere who went crazy over the issue, i'd wouldn't be as surprised. but this lady was sent to prison, which means she had to go to court, plead her case, and was found guilty of a crime which merited prison time. pardon the expression but, jesus christ!!! what's wrong with these people?

shoot, she got off light!! if you saw it on the news, there were riots in the streets for this woman's life!!! and people say christians are radical extremists....the punishment was supposed to be a flogging and life in prison! i just remember thinking when i saw the story that i know if it were me, i'd get the hell outta dodge and quick!!!

For your information, she did not name it, the children named it after one of their popular classmate, who was named Mohammad. If it was a dirty pig that the kids hated i can buy it, it was beloved teddy. Muslims name their kids Muhammad. In a Muslim family there will be at least one person will be named Muhammad.
It was the school secretary who called the authority.
So it was worse than the general people understand.
Then two Muslim member of British Parliament got her pardoned.
The Whole Muslim world owe her an apology. We should have a world court hearing, as a Human rite violation.
