Wow. Well Im an ex-scientologist and Ive worked with many Mormons.
Mormons believe in praying to God and Jesus to help them in their life. They believe in miracles. And in "giving your life over to God for guidance".
Scientologists believe in God but it pretty much stops there. They believe in helping yourself over lifes difficulties and believe only in miracles that they themselves perform by the own abilities. Lots of self-help courses mostly. Communications, studying, getting off drugs, fighting peer pressure, counseling.

Mormons follow teachings of Jesus Christ. i don't believe this is a requirement of Scientology.

Well, I don't know much about Mormons, but I know they DON'T believe aliens populated the earth.
