Meaning, if someone gave you some and they just didnt seem to work well. You ask and they are over a year old, do you need to take twice as much or are they just done and you throw away. I was told they were always kept in the freezer too.

I know vegetables loose vitamins from the time they are picked so the liberty caps? may loose some magic?
But from experience the DRIED ones we had kicking around for ages, maybe more than a year were outrageously strong I made a decision. I can no longer cope with those and haven't touched them since.
(Or did I?)
Although vegetables taste stronger dried??

tell your "FRIEND" if they were in the freezer they are fine!
I kept some in the freezer for over a year and they were fine

Regular mushies shouldn't be frozen unless cooked, so I guess the same applies.

Whatever you do...don't dispose of them. They may come in handy one of these days. Even if they do lose some potency...the ativan might give them just the boost they need.......haha!!
