I normally check up on my answers to see what others may have posted or maybe the asker has some other comments to help them with their dogs...Nothing wrong with this, but this sicked me and I want to share it with all I work with abused dogs all the time trying to give them a second, third, even four chance at a good life and people are doing this? Who is behind it? Paris Hiton? Britney Spears?

Allergy free my butt....I work with dogs like this as I said and I may have to take shots soon. This I am not complaining about I would not trade it for a desk job where I can sleep all day and get paid. The point is they CLAIM this allergy free dog, and that is BOGUS I have severe allergies to dogs, Own two and cats and I LOVE WHAT I DO SO MUCH IF I GOTTA take a shot daily great
Have a look at it and share your thoughts I mean would you really pay this price for what you can get at a shelter and save a life to boot?
The site sicken me, just tell me what you think?

Lyn, I m not sure what you are talking about, I mean I know this can happen, so thanks for the heads up, if Norton or my 2 other VS come up with it I'll be happy to try and help you get yours free of it, either case feel free to IM me and will help you with it.
This is what the site states so you do not have to go back there but want to know:
Freedom Kennels is the best Australian breeder of allergy friendly pups and dogs. We offer a range of puppies by age and breed and occasionally have mature dogs for sale.

This site is ridiculous. It makes it sound like you are ordering a 1/2 garlic pizza 1/2 cheese pizza...and the guy on the phone says, "okay that will be delivered in about 45 minutes." This guy should be put in his place. If you click on the "Retiring Dog's Section..." For the most part they are all bred ready to welp bitches. Its sick.

I went thru to the site, OMG, these people are really selling these dogs and they are awful........a Schnauzer/Poodle mix is 500.00, allergy free...excuse me I breed and show Schnauzers, yes they have fur, which does help allergy sufferers, but you can still be allergic to them...hey, everyone can I advertise and sell mine as allergy free and raise the price by a few hundred dollars, I hope this place gets shut down........I have also emailed the Head Office of the ASPCA and gave them the website to check out......

Just look at the list of "Breeds"

Puggles
Beagleiers (sp-whatever that is anyway)
PomaPoos

WTF ever.. If you have THAT many dogs to be breeding THAT many kinds of "breeds" to sell on the internet, it's quite obvious what you are..

Puppy Mill.

Allergy Free? Certainly not. They just don't experience the pet allergies because the poor things are locked up in some trailor lying in their own urine and feces trying not to starve before someone makes it around to toss down some food.

Poor things.

yeah that is total b.s.
The only dog that I know of that *most* people, even allergic people, won't have an allergic reaction to is either: a dog who is completely shaved, or, a poodle.
This is just some lame gimmick to get people to buy a dog. Just because most of these dogs are poodle mixes well... I had a poodle mix. half maltese and half poodle. And my mom was still allergic to her. People who are allergic to dogs just shouldn't get one, or should find some way to deal with it... because making a "hypoallergenic" dog is just not the way to go.

My sis-in-law is highly allergic to dogs and she went to her Dr. to see if there was a type of dog she could adopt that would not cause her allergies to act up. I know he gave her a few choices and told her there are actually dogs that will cause your allergies to not be as strong...but ultimately most people are allergic to the dander a dog puts off not the fur...so I think for the most part they are just trying to jack up prices on dogs because they know people will fall for anything...its sad but its true...

I agree with you. The sickening thing is that these mutts cost more than purebreds. These bybs cross everything with Poodle so they can create new "breeds" and claim that they are allergen free. That's totally ridiculous.

Australian puppy mills are as bad and as numerous (if not moreso) than the ones in the US.

These people are puppy pimps, plain and simple -- and they pretty much have cornered the market (with trendy mutts as well as purebreds) in other rabies free countries (as well as Hawaii)

It sickens me too.

The idea of a "breeder of cross-breed dog" is an oxymoron.
