Do you think 120,000 American and coalition troops looking to hang Saddam in Iran's backyard had anything to do with it? Or was it simply a uncanny coincidence?
Is the intelligence community right this time? If so, when do we know they are right? If not, when will we know they will be right?
So far it seems that only Democrats seem to know when intelligence reports are right or wrong and I think they should share with us mortal men how they do it.

you are absolutely right. the Libs such as man of god is what if anything makes this country weak, Country's like Iran Korea Syria Venezuela depend on cowards and misinformed people like Danny Glover, Suzann Surandan Sean Penn code pink and the above mentioned Man of god. I can picture him with his little marker crossing out all the things he can't fit into his George soros world. They Stopped for the same reason lybia stopped and dismantled. Unlike the Clinton ERA the US finally stepped up and said no more.

For basically the same reasons Libya gave up its WMD programs during the same time frame.
It doesn't take too many carrier strike forces sailing past your shores to think deeply about the consequences of your actions.

I would be inclined to believe they stopped their weapons program because it was becoming obvious what they were trying to do. If the international community would have remained oblivious to their goal, they would probably still be working on it.
