What am I missing out on if I get a 40gb PS3?

Question

I know its not compatible with PS2 games and no card readers, what else will I be missing. My father got a 40 gig today as a bluray player but im looking to make the most out of that money already spent and try exchange it for a 60gig.
(Want the 60gig over the 80 cause i read that the 60 carries hardware backward compatibility as opposed to the 80 gigs software)

It has 2 USB ports only and no built-in wifi.
