About 5 years I ago I realised a small lump in my head over the five years it has become quite big, and just over the last year I notice, another small lump by the top of my ear and two more in my head. I have been trying to research on the internet what this might be. So far I have found out it could be lymph node and other names. But I am not sure whether I should go to the doctors because it does not hurt and is quite hard but so far I don’t think I seen any side effects. Although research on the internet I have found out its common with other people, but most find one lump I got about four in total.
Also one of the lumps are quite big, (the lump I had for five years). I do feel a bit shy in going to the doctors but I’m not sure what I should do.?

Sounds like sebaceous cysts. I have one. I know someone who has 3 or 4.
They are not dangerous, really only annoying and sometimes unsightly.
If you want them removed speak with a dermatologist. I am planning on having mine removed because it is on my scalp and has started to distort the hair follicoles in the area of the cyst.

You should not feel shy about going to the doctors. You could be ignoring a serious condition and harming yourself by not at least getting it checked.
It would be in your best interest to just go to the doctor to have it looked at so you dont have to wonder anymore, you will know.
What maybe common for other people can somtimes prove to not be common for another, so once again for your own curioustiy to be satisfied and for your own good, make the appointment with the doctor.

It's probably a sebaceous cyst. They are common, especially in the hair, because of the oil. They can become quite large, and can also become infected, so it is best that they be removed. Nothing to be shy about, it has nothing to do about cleanliness.

There is nothing to feel shy about, if your health is at stake nothing could be too embarrassing enough to see a doctor. That's what they are there for and they are obligated to keep your medical information confidential. So make an appt. to see your doctor, you will feel much better that you did.
