A miracle, derived from the old Latin word miraculum meaning "something wonderful", is a striking interposition of divine intervention by a supernatural being in the universe by which the ordinary course and operation of Nature is overruled, suspended, or modified. Although many religious texts and people confirm witnessing or prophesying various events which they refer to as "miraculous", it is disputed whether there are scientifically confirmed occurrences of miracles[1]. People in different faiths have substantially different definitions of the word "miracle". Even within a specific religion there is often more than one usage of the term.
Sometimes the term "miracle" may refer to the action of a supernatural being that is not a god. Thus, the term "divine intervention", by contrast, would refer specifically to the direct involvement of a deity.
In casual usage, "miracle" may also refer to any statistically unlikely but beneficial event, (such as the survival of a natural disaster) or even to anything which is regarded as "wonderful" regardless of its likelihood, such as birth. Other miracles might be: survival of a fatal illness, escaping a life threatening situation or 'beating the odds'

All I know is, official miracles are incredibly rare, and go through many tests to figure out if it is a true miracle or not. A miracle could be someone having a deadly disease, and just all of the sudden the disease is cured. They require that doctors check to make sure the body did not cause the disease to be cured, medication, or anything else. The Catholic church is usually in charge of keeping track of true miracles in Christianity.

I'm a reasonable man.

I expect miracles, and I've seen them!

By a miracle, my old pastor Rev Richard Gray showed up at my door on the morning of the very day of my wife's funneral and burrial.

He was living in central Quebec, and my home is in southwestern Ontario, 10 or 12 hours of driving away from each other.

No one told him she was dying. He just happened to be in town for a visit, when I needed him.

Now that is the biggest miracle that ever happened to me!

I don't have faith in coincidences, but those who doubt miracles see oddly convenient coincidences all around them. When we get to heaven, we'll learn all about it.

A miracle is something that comes as a gift from out of the blue.

The program A Pathway to Freedom outlines the Universal Laws that govern every form of Hu-man behaviour and endeavour. Laws do not fail.

In understanding Applied Meta-Physics you will learn that miracles do happen - but like a tree bearing fruit - a certain amount of maturity has to be attained before the branches can bear the fruit. A young tree cannot bear a full harvest, likewise, someone without an understanding of the Universal Law and how to use it cannot do 'miracles.'

The word 'miracle' really means 'wonder' and means one person using unfailing laws to transform visible conditions - while the uninformed mind looks on in 'wonder.'

Every day people heal themselves through the power of the Spirit - what this program teaches is how these Laws work and how anyone can use them to heal themselves.

"If you have the faith of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain - move away and it shall..."

Faith is the proof to your own logical mind that the Law is working and living through you - no one can give you this evidence, nor take it away once it lives in you. Faith is never blind, it is the fruit of its corresponding faculty in mind working to help you understand your own nature better.

The mustard seed - is an analogy - for substance - if your faith has any substance at all, it can grow until you have power over seeming insurmountable problems. Your part is to learn the Law, use it and trust it to prove itself for you.

Once it has proved itself in even a small measure, you will use it for every area of your life.

The Law is not a respector of persons - it does not look at your face, your shape, your nationality or your past; it takes your life as a cup and it fills it with whatever you have in mind.

The Law of Motives prunes your nature and guides you into making wise choices so that the image and likeness of a superior character may form in you.

Each person is really unlimited - our 'limitations' are an inheritance of thought patterns which we carry within us, patterns that we inherited from previous generations. When we learn how to uproot from ourselves, the erroneous influences of past generations we free up the energy tied in the behaviour patterns and make it available for other activities.

Ultimately, there are no limitations and our world is beginning to reflect this at every angle - from the super sportsmen and women (there are still those that do not use chemical assistance...) - to the super intelligent scientist and creative inventor. All these aspects are of the ONE spirit - which dwells as much in you as it does in anyone else.

What is needed most in the world today is an understanding of how to release ourselves from the ad-dictions and habits that have held this and previous generations prisoners - as well as every form of erroneous limitation - and to understand that every person is subject to the Universal Law and that when we release energy from destructive forms of behaviour we can redirect it to attain any given goal. Once we release the healing Spirit from its prison of our senses it can pour out its healing balm and produce 'miracles.'

When the Laws of a Higher World intervene with the Laws of a Lower World...

For example, when we look through a microscope, we can engineer a gene, to become different than what it originally was intended to be...

Or, if we are being looked at through a "microscope" of some sort, some invisible finger can re-arrange life on earth...

The point is, neither the gene, nor ourselves, can ever be able to see it coming...
