Yes, you will miss her terribly. But that's a good thing. Whenever I'm away from my son, whether for a few hours or an overnight at Grandma's, I hate it at first. I miss him so much I want to turn right around and get him. Then I love it, getting to do absolutely whatever I want. Then I miss him again so much I can't take it, but then I see him again.
I think little breaks are a good thing. Not sure what to tell you about the nursing, that might be tough. Try to enjoy your time.

I was away from my 1-year-old for 5 days when I went out to help a family member who had cancer. The baby will be totally fine, of course (with dad and grandparents the only problem is spoiling). Of course you might miss her, but you'll be back soon. When I came back, the baby clung to daddy and acted like I was a stranger, which was really disconcerting. But a day later all was forgiven and I'm certain she wasn't scarred for life. ;-) Get a good book and also go out and do some fun things that you couldn't usually do. A nice break will probably help you be an even better mom when you go back!

1. Keep a photo of your baby next to where you sleep while your on vacation.
2. Call your baby maybe twice, even though she may not talk well. At least you can her a little coo's and baby chuckle to the sound of your voice.
3. Just think of it as mommie time. Enjoy the brake and remember when you see her again give her all the extra hugs and kisses.
4. This is a great way to wing her off nursing too.
Don't worry it will be alright.

The first day is the hardest. My first day, I called home and told my husband I wanted to come back. I was on a girl's weekend, for three days. But each day gets better, easier. I have a friend who left for a week, and wrapped special little presents for her daughter to open every day. So you could do that with your husband. And that way every day he can say, "look what mommy got you to let you know how much she misses you. But she's going to see you in "x" days".
You'll be fine. You both will be. It's all part of being a mommy.

just enjoy the sleep! My husband and I left our son with my parents for a few days when he was 10 months old. I worried about how I would deal, and we missed him.....but it was nice to remember what eight hours of sleep, sitting down and enjoying a cup of coffee, and spending time together felt like! It was great coming back home and seeing him, but it did us all good to break from the routine. I'm glad I didn't ruin it for myself by obsessing about getting back home. Enjoy your trip too!

i was away from my daughter for 3 weeks before her 3rd bday and it was hard cause it was so long but i got alot done and slept alot
also my husband is in the military so he's commonly away from our daughter for months at a time
think of it as it's only 4 days it will go by fast
also being away will probably help ween her real quick and give you and your teenage daughter time to get reconnected
