Go talk to an CG recruiter and tell them what you want to do. Do not wait until the last second before your EAOS. Go now. You will need to look at changing ratings and maybe losing PO2 to go to PO3. Think everything through before jumping over. Not a bad choice, just a different service which is very different as far as job choices and advancement. Good luck.

Report to your Career Counselor and they may help you or go to a US Coast Guard Recruiter and
that would work in your favor!

First you would have to drop to PO3 at best. See a recruiter and it can be done. Good luck

The CG like the AF doesn not take Prior Service members.
