Many egg-laying creatures were in existence before the existence of chickens.

But is all about law & grace.

As for chickens and eggs, eggs are first mentioned:
If a bird's nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, [whether they be] young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young: Deuteronmy 22:6
Chickens are allegory mentioned as children: Matthew 23:37
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, [thou] that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under [her] wings, and ye would not!

God made the chicken to produce other chickens and to give us good fresh eggs to eat!

The egg came first since all chickens were born of an egg. The exact spot when the species "chicken" split from its ancestor cannot be exactly pinpointed but since birds are descendants of dinosaurs and dinosaurs descendents of amphibians and so on (they all produce eggs) I am sure the first chicken hatched from an egg.

What a ? the chicken came 1st God made them to reproduce after their kind did you not read the Bible? It tells you in Genesis. If you read into Matt it tells you how to be saved too & that God is Father not she as you have stated.
