I don't believe in an old man with a beard sitting on a cloud, if that's what you mean. If there is a God , why would he (or she) take on human traits?

I just don't see the reason why the existence of god or gods is relevant to life. But other than that, let's put all the atheistic or theistic bias aside and look at the practicality of "god".
I buy a bullet-proof vest knowing it will protect me from bullets, the amount i paid for the vest is a measure of the sacrifice i made for this protection. BUT a man can be totally devoted to God, prays everyday, preaches to believers, yet someone could shoot him dead in the street. His sacrifice to god is immeasurable, yet the difference between my sacrifice and his sacrifice is that, i KNOW i will have the protection when i need it because i have the vest, yet this man will believe he is safe from harm because he is under "gods" protection.
The whole point of this is, believers believe in something that may or may not be true and the reason they believe (salvation whatever) may also just be a whole bunch of BS. In short God has no evident influence on Earth.
For me believing in the existence of god has as much weight as me believing in the existence of fairies. How different is God and fairies? One just has a longer history. But in terms of how relevant they are, one is just a little be more relevant to life than the other. But it still does not make god believeable.

because if God does exist then EVERY SINGLE person in the world will believe in him. There will be no different religions in the world with their own beliefs. Since nobody knows the answers they make up their own rules and religions for themselves. If there was a God and he did exist then the whole world will be convinced.

Its irrational to believe that when i am physically and mentally dead that a part of me called my "soul" will leave my body and float up to a place that has no location and is controlled by a man no one has ever seen or that i will be sent to a fiery depth that also has no location and is controlled by a man no one has ever seen but was created by God who should have know Satan would turn on him.

Why do I not believe in God?
I do not believe in any means of Gods because they do not exsist. If a God exsisted, why would he create people who do not believe in him? Why would he create sin?

God so-said made man in his image, and man has sinned. Does this mean your God isn't as perfect as you think? It would. If there was actual scientific proof a holy figure exsisted, then maybe I would believe. But how do you expect me to believe in a certain religion when most religions repeat others?

Intellectual honesty, I believe in the fundamental properties of mass and energy. To believe this does not require me to invoke magic or null causality. I have to make up no stories to explain the world around me.

Can you be more specific, which "GOD" are you referring to.?Are you saying why don't you believe in Jesus or Allah or what? After you clear up the question then I'll ask you a question, why don't you believe in Santa Claus?

Because nothing has convinced me to do so. No evidence. Not for god(s) in general, and certainly not for any specific deity.

(Belief is an active thing. Lack of belief is the passive/default state.)

Hate to contradict the details of the question, but really, God doesn't exist. Life is what you make of it, even if it includes conjuring illusions.

Because we are not able to explain to them that there is one. i simply say to the person who believes only in science and not God that science observes with human senses and then have results. like for something to exist you need to be able to see it , taste it, touch it, smell it etc, so i ask them have you ever seen you mind have you ever smelled it, have you ever touched it , have you ever tasted it, if not then does it mean you don't have one?
