I had a baby 4 months ago, and I just started noticing clumps of my hair falling out in the shower. Is this normal, and when will it stop???

It happens due to body chemistry change after having a baby.. I've noticed that my sister after a while, it stopped and their hair started to return in about eight months.

My husband has lengthy hair and has been utilising Loreal Melting Gel for years. It has on no account brought about him to lose his hair. Probably the worst factor that you just might do for your hair to make it "fall out" (extra like holiday off) is bleach it. Bleaching may be very unsafe if no longer performed competently. So maintain utilising your gel, you don't have anything to lose! Pardon the pun.

It happens because your body is still readjusting. It takes 9 months for your body to adjust before going into labor and 9 months to a year to return to normality. But to ease your mind you can check with a doctor. Also this may be a sign of Thyroid disease.

it is normal! your hormones during pregnancy usually cause your hair to become fuller and grow longer. After baby comes, it goes back to normal, only its a bit scary as it thins out again

It happened to me with my first child. It's normal due the the hormonal changed in your body. It will probably stop as soon as your hormones level out and that will vary.

Apparently its very common with some ladies just having a baby. It's your hormone levels but they will sort themselves out very soon and your hair will grow back. Perhaps somebody else on here can give you a little more support than me but please don't worry too much.

That is common to happen after and during pregnancy. I would never choose a child over my hair

It's normal. Keep taking your prenatal vitamins. Basically, your baby robbed you of all your nutrients, so keep up on your vitamins and you should be just fine. It's normal....don't worry!

Yes, I have heard of it, its your hormones from having a baby. When you are pregnant, you get thicker hair, and now it's shedding....It will get better
