They arent the best choices for a long term career and not much use when he returns to civvy street.Might pay to work on his grades and re-apply.

Ok all these jobs/careers are on the lower end of the pay scale and therfore not seen as really good jobs to go for. I dont know about flight operations assistant, or intelligence voice analyst. But have had experience of all the other trades and spent my entire life in an Raf enviroment. (These are my personal opinions only and i do not wish to offend anyone)

Personnal Administrator - (admin assistant glorified dogbody) low pay lots of hours little respect - basic admin/filing/answering phone maybe some accounts/wages etc.

Supplier (commonly known as blanket stacker) Totally under appreciated by most serving airman. Responsible to everyone for getting kit/equipment organised both home and abroad. Lots of Computer work etc ( Family member did this for 30 years - then got a great job with BAE in Saudi and earned a fortune)

Movement Control - works along side supplier, they get the stuff/people organised by suppliers to its destination. Lots of heavy humping and dumping of boxes usually get the blame for things going missing. They are concerned with the weights of the boxes etc - (very boring i know)

Steward - (The best job in the world - Not!!! I did it) Glorified waitress serving pompous idiots usually who get totally ratted and abuse you. Long hours/ Long shifts (Battle of Britain Ball = 24 - 36 hours) Can have a good laugh but the work is not hard but so tiring as on feet all day, getting shouted/abused from every quarter. (I once had to sit and count 7000 portions of butter- totally mind numbing)

I would advise your brother to reconsider his options about his academic level and try again after getting a few more entry exams.

The RAF is a wonderful life whilst your in but what ever career he chooses he should take further study at the education centre so he is qualified when he leaves. Both my husband were not really qualified after serving 10 years and had to return to college and University in Civvy street.

Good Luck.

Try for better grades.
If not all these jobs carry civilian equivalents.

Your brother might also consider aircrew selection.
