Ok - this is the way it works...I used to work in HR and was the person that made and negotiated the offers to people. When it says 45-55....55 is tops...they cannot offer you any higher than that for this particular job. Therefore, if they start you at 55, the only way that you can get a raise is through promotion which is not always possible. Generally, raises come from review time. If you don't meet 100% of the qualifications, that means that there is still growing room for you and it wouldn't make sense that they offer you the position at $55K. To be honest, they can prob get someone else that's just as qualified and get him/her for the price they want to start the pay at if you're not going to take the job. I would say that you are negotiable. Then they will ask you how much you currently make and you can tell them. When telling them your current salary, don't inflate the amount too much because if they are in HR....they know job salaries and know if you are bs-ing.

Find out how much a fighter plane costs and how much it costs to train a fighter pilot to operational effectiveness.

Do you think any country in the world would take a chance on someone who isn't one of their citizens purely on a monetary basis? As for security concerns you wouldn't get a look in!

Most young men who want to fighter pilots don't make it. Try your own country first - and make it not about what salary they can offer and the benefits but what you can do for them. Then you might get somewhere.

First of all, you need to be a legal citizen of the country you are entering the military in. Plus, you may want to be a fighter pilot, but so do thousands of others, but only less than 1% are chosen to do so. There are so many different types of pilots that only a very small select group are chosen to be jet fighter pilots. You need to go to college and graduate to become elligible. Good luck and keep the shiny side up! HouRah!

You not just go up to immigration in a country and say you are here to join the airforce and become a fighter pilot! You need to be a citizen or at least a legal resident of that country first and what makes you think emmigrating to the country of your choice is a foregone conclusion?

Why would you fight and risk your life for another country? Go in the Indian Air Force. After you serve then you can become a commercial pilot and make the money.

Your avatar has glasses. Do you wear glasses? Most modernized countries will not let you be a pilot in the military without perfect vision.

Military service is based on your country of origin and the willingness to defend and even die to support your country.

You don't join the military based on the best wages and benefits.
